WorldClass® works with several organizations that nurture and promote arts-integrated activities, in and outside of the classroom. We applaud the work of the following groups and welcome your support.

The Rhythm Project
World percussion is the driving beat of the Virginia Arts Festival's year-round artists-in-residence, The Rhythm Project. These dynamic young people have drummed and danced their way onto hundreds of stages from the Virginia Beach Oceanfront to the Nova Scotia Military Tattoo. An after school program founded in 1996, it has tripled in size and is comprised of middle and high school students from Portsmouth, Hampton and Norfolk public schools. Private foundations and corporate sponsorships fund this initiative designed to develop a strong sense of self-esteem, self-confidence and self-worth-- through music. For more information on the Rhythm Project be sure to check out www.virginiaartsfest.com or call (757) 282-2816.
